Late Night Upwelling

Collective Unconscious

Coming up on midnight. Tired. Finally closing eyes, but the desire to draw surges. Search for a decent Tombow in the pen cup. Desire turns to urgency as I lay ink on paper, trying to capture as many brain waves as possible. For 1.5 hours lines spill out. Hardly any conscious thought about what I'm drawing. Definitely zoning. Then, as fast as the creative surge raged onto the scene, it slips away into the darkness. The steady rain and wind in the trees... fading... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
