mindset

Checked some Internet sketch sites, walked around town, then felt the urge to mix up a 2B pencil, a thrashed Bic pen (found it on the sidewalk), a Tombow 856 (needed a jolt of red ink today), and a Tombow N15. Filled in the background with a newly-sharpened 4H pencil. Jumped in and out of these drawings today... had freelance work to do.

social parasites

A story begins to drop out of my head. Graphite and a 2B try to capture creepy characters. Worm-like social parasites are reoccurring motifs. Haven't figured out their origin or purpose yet. Not sure if I want to know.

Ideas are born. Then the parasites show up.
A mushy pen nib makes for fun experiments with thick and thin strokes.

2B and 4B pencils sketch subconscious thoughts of the death of passion... but the thrill of motion and zero gravity lives on in eternity!
